Welcome to the Dragonet Youth Club Website. We are a Chinese youth club that meets every Wednesday from 5.00 pm until 9.00 pm. Our club is held in Hillhead High School and we welcome youths aged 12 - 25 from all ethnic groups. It cost just 50p per night and we have many activities including badminton, basketball, video games, DVDs and free Mandarin lessons. First time members come for free! So if you haven't been before then come along for a 'taster' and you don't even have to pay a penny!

The Superstar Showcase is back for 2007! If you missed out on the first Superstar Showcase last year then don't miss out on this one! Last year's Showcase was a success, although there was a few minor errors. But this year we promise to be bigger, better and different! For the first time in any talent show in Glasgow, we are having auditions! If you think you have what it takes then pick up an entry form. There are three auditions to choose from - Tuesday 13th February, Wednesday 14th February and Saturday 17th February. Tuesday's audition will be held in the small function room in Loon Fung, Wednesday's audition will be in Dragonet Youth Club at Hillhead High School and Saturday's audition will be in Chinese School at Stow College. Entry forms can be picked up from and handed into Onmi gift shop in Chinatown, any youth worker or committee member or direct from Dragonet Youth Club. Hurry! Forms must be returned by 1st February and your audition date will be confirmed on 5th February.

Can't make any of the audition dates? You might still have a chance of entering! We know people may have exams or other commitments. So if the audition week is not suitable for you then Contact Kelly asap at the Dragonet e-mail address. If you have a valid reason then she may be able to arrange an audition for you during Youth Club on 7th February but VERY limited spaces available. Please contact her before you hand in an application if you wish to attend on 7th February.

1st February Closing date for Superstar showcase 2007 applications.

5th February Confirmation of audition date will be sent to applicants.

13th February Showcase audition at Loon Fung at 5.30 pm.

14th February Showcase audition at Dragonet Youth Club at 6.30 pm.

17th February Showcase audition at Chinese School, Stow College at 1.30 pm.

28th February Advanced ticket sales available at Dragonet Youth Club for members today.

1st March Successful & Unsuccessful auditionees will be notified by e-mail.

1st March Superstar showcase 2007 tickets go on sale today priced £3! Tickets available from Onmi gift shop, Dragonet Youth Club, Youth Workers and Youth Committee members.

3rd April Superstar Showcase 2007 in Mitchell Theatre at 7.00 pm. Doors open at 6.30 pm.
